There are many reasons why an organisation should use a CEMDC solution. The the single most important one is to ensure that the organisation has its own records upon which it can rely.
This allows the organisation not only to meet the requirements of ISO9001 but more importantly to preserve its contractual position should the parties to the contract disagree with one another.
The only way to ensure that one's records are in good order is to have in force procedures covering control of communications. This is best exercised by using a CEMDC software package such as The TDOC System.

Verification
Technical Documents must be verified as being actually what was described as being sent to you.
This means although the document can be registered in your system, the electronic version SHOULD NOT be made available UNTIL it has been verified as being not only the correct version, but also that is readable, and not in changeable format. It may of course be marked up.
